After eight years in Africa, photo reporter Koutaro Himuro returns to Japan to receive an award. On this occasion, he meets Eriko, his ex-wife. Wishing to introduce their only daughter, Aya, to Africa, Koutaro tries to convince Eriko to let her go with him, without success. A few days later, Eriko tells him that their daughter is nowhere to be found. Only a few pictures remain, strange to say the least... A desperate attempt follows for this father to find his daughter.
