Uchi no Chiisa na Jochuu-san

The "jochuu" (maid) used to be a major occupation for Japanese women, and they were a part of everyday life. This is the story of a 14-year-old girl, Hana Nonaka, who worked as a maid for a translator, Reiko Hasumi, in the early Showa period when such maids were the most common.
