Shumari

Set in Hokkaido in the early Meiji era, the protagonist is a man who is wild and has a sword arm. He was originally an indigenous person, but he respected and interacted with Ainu Aborigines. By the way, “Shumari” is an Ainu word meaning “fox”. He came to Hokkaido to find his wife, Tae, who had fled with his opponent.
