How can I care for a child who lives without sound?

Gentaro lost his deaf wife, Naomi, in an accident. A few years later, Yuko, Naomi's beautiful younger sister, died. She died from illness. Yuko was one to keep to herself and thus most did not know she had a daughter. Her name is Shoko. Like Naomi, she is completely deaf. Shoko, with no one to go to, and Gentaro, burdened by his past, end up living together. This awkward pair begin their new life on their small island.
