Saboten to Marshmallow

Mariko Ito is 17 years old. She works part-time at Sanko Shuppan while attending a regular high school. She dreams of becoming a top editorial reporter, but she always fails and sometimes feels like giving up. Mariko is faced with a cameraman from the same publishing company, Hitoshi Ito... Kyoko Takeda's masterpiece was serialized in Weekly Seventeen (Shueisha) from 1970 to 1971, and was dramatized for television by Nippon Television Network Corporation.
