Akemitsu Orochi, a good-looking son of a famous family with a lineage of humans and snakes, is paired with a mating partner to preserve his bloodline. His partner is Mashuu Kofu, his former fiance who carries on the bloodline of the Amur tiger. They were paired together once when they were children, but the engagement was broken off when Mashuu abruptly called it off.
