Takeshima, a former member of the Japan national team, is looking for someone who could overcome this “common sense.” He meets Fukado En, a boy who took up table tennis in search of human connection, and sees the potential in his straightforward, unadulterated passion. A former national team member and a lonely boy weave a dramatic table tennis story that drives a stake through the “common sense” of the sport.
