Noa Ichijo, an editor of a cooking magazine, is working too hard to fulfill her dream of becoming an editor-in-chief, and her soon-to-be-married boyfriend dumps her. She then meets a man who lives in the next room, Homare Ninomiya, who is an excellent cook. In fact, he is a popular culinary expert and the interviewer for Noa's next planned project - on the top of that, he is also a single father with a child!
