The Kuwahara Racing Project is an attempt to dominate the world racing scene with a purely-Japanese team. To achieve this, Kuwahara sets his sights on the genius driver Kai Hitotsubashi. But then he meets Ken Kosugi, who drives an automatic wagon with tremendous skill, and Kuwahara feels like Ken can be a complementary teammate for Kai. Kuwabara dispatches one of his scouts, Hajime Miyawaki, to try out Ken. However, Ken only has a limited-automatic driver's license. He's not even qualified to drive a stick-shift, much less a race car. How will Ken handle this opportunity?
