For Tasuku Arisawa, life revolves around the Kendo club, in which he is very involved, and his little brother Tsubasa, the only family he has left since the death of their parents. One day, a mysterious man dressed in black attacks him, and the high school student finds himself thrown into the parallel world of Ni no Kuni! The inhabitants of this enchanting kingdom – where magic is omnipresent – seem to see in Tasuku a savior destined to triumph over the belligerent King Sham and his horde of demons...
