The elementary school boy Naoki has to live with his grandparents in Wakayama because his parents moved abroad for work. Trying to make Naoki happy, his grandparents prepare traditional sweets and snacks, which all seem new and exciting to a city boy like Naoki! The life in the countryside starts with all sorts famous local sweets and homemade snacks, set in beautiful natural scenery, surrounded by mountains and the sea!
