The story begins a year before the fated Atami Grand Prix.

Mota Kudo, a new transfer student who just enrolled in a school in Atami, has a Mini 4WD car called the Lord Spirit, which has been with him since he was a child. With how out-of-ordinary his car tuning is, Mota had attracted numerous Mini 4WD racers, who think that he is worthy of being a 'King' of Mini 4WD.

This is a story of who will be the Mini 4WD King.
