"Let's play badminton together forever," was their promise. Naruse and Hodaka have been a doubles pair since elementary school and are currently living together as a couple. After graduating from high school, Naruse continued playing badminton with a corporate team and Hodaka with the university badminton club. In contrast to Naruse, who expresses his pure feelings of wanting to play with Hodaka again soon, Hodaka is feeling his own limitations... They're close, but they can't communicate, and because they're close, they can't communicate. What answers will the two arrive at through their encounters with various people?
