Claire is a half-French half-Japanese girl raised in an orphanage. Bullied by the other kids because of her red hair and weird behavior, she developed an obsession for beautiful and eternal things that she can keep all for herself. She currently likes to collect butterflies.

When she encounters Youko, a beautiful girl who looks like a butterfly, Claire decides to make the girl the jewel of her collection.
