Takkun falls in love far too easily, but his confessions always get turned down. To cheer him up, his childhood friend Kanata crossdresses in a schoolgirl uniform and becomes his "pretend girlfriend" every time he gets rejected, gradually developing romantic feelings towards Takkun in the process. Thinking that they'll just go back to being friends once Takkun gets a girlfriend, Kanata is unable to open up about his emotions. Will Takkun reciprocate Kanata's feelings or is he just a substitute to him?
