Yoshioki, the eldest son of the village head family, follows village customs and marries Chitose, a descendant of the shrine maiden family. But the "bride" turns out to be a man, and Yoshioki is furious! What's more, Chitose is beautiful but taciturn and unfriendly. Their married life was full of things that didn't go well.
