Sunao’s life is one dreary, lonely day after another, just as it has been for the past eight years since he started his job. There’s nothing to look forward to and he doesn’t even have the energy to try to improve his situation. That all changes when he answers the door to see two young women, assigned to live with him as part of a program designed to combat falling birth rates. With their help, maybe things can turn around.
