Kotoko and Chiho have been together for five years and Kotoko has her sights on something more. Their relationship has progressed without any hitches so far, but Chiho has not uttered a single word about marriage. Even the kids at the daycare Kotoko works at talk about it. Seeing how sad and upset she is, Kotoko's coworker, Tomokazu takes her out for drinks. Unfortunately, they end up at the bar Chiho works at! Kotoko is feeling uncomfortable, but Tomokazu makes things worse when he asks the two when they're getting married! Kotoko is shocked when Chiho's answer is that he's never thought about that kind of future together. When they get home, Chiho is acting strange, but Kotoko lets him take her to the bed, even though she has her doubts, too.
