Toshina is a 27-year old woman who works for an advertising company. She throws herself into her work to distract herself from the loneliness and anxiety of being alone, after having lost all of her family. One day, a man in military uniform suddenly appears in front of Toshina in a flash of light. At first she is puzzled by Takeo, the mysterious young man who has time-slipped from the past to the present day, but she becomes sympathetic to his situation and gradually becomes attracted to him. Eventually, their feelings for each other are consummated, and they decide to live together in the present day. However, they are suddenly transported back in time, to the era in which Takeo lived.
