It was a spring day when the cherry blossoms were beginning to fall a little that the robot came to a young person living in a port town. Osamu Hanami is a 25-year-old who lives and works as a painter. An AI humanoid robot named Hal came to their house.

They have just met and know nothing about each other yet, but their common language is "painting".
