For their ten-year anniversary, Tori, a hairdresser, and Tetsu, a programmer, embarked on the longest journey in Japan, from Wakkanai, Hokkaido Prefecture, where Tetsu's grandparents lived, to Kohoku, Kishima, Saga Prefecture, where Tori's family lived. Their trip was Tetsu's, the Shinkansen fanatic, dream come true, while Tori was estatic to sightsee, try all sorts of ekiben, and introduce Tetsu to his family.

A straight line from the North to South Japan, totalling to over 10.000km! Squid rice, beef, shrimp, 1,000 ryo chirashi, beef stew, Kaganodate bento, popular rice, Arita-yaki curry, delicious ekiben, and a train journey.
