Dao
What are Chinese folktales? They are ancient legends passed down by word of mouth, the distillation of a thousand years of folk wisdom. They collect the people's life experiences and imaginations, weaving their emotions into short stories. They represent hundreds and thousands of years of intelligence and inspiration from the Chinese people. Sima Gonggong brings six such stories to life, finding inspiration in the historical stories to express the difficulties of daily life such as greed, anger, obsession, and evil.
