Yeon-Hwa dreams of mingling with a snake every night. She started having that dream on the day she saved a snake that was about to die. Then, Yeon-Hwa is captured by the villagers and offered as a sacrifice to the snake god Mu-Gae. Yeon-Hwa pleads with the snake god, saying she wants to live, but Mu-Gae immediately realizes that she is the Yeon-Hwa who saved him.
