Ashita Kagayaku
One summer morning in 1945, Natsuki Kyouko, a Japanese female student living in Shenyang, Manchuria, meets a young medic, Hayami. Soon after their encounter, they both develop feelings for each other.
World War II was still ongoing but around the same time, Japan surrendered and the war ended. The soldiers in Manchuria are quickly withdrawn to Japan, but Hayami remains there to help the remaining civilians. But with the end of the war, things change drastically for both Kyouko and Hayami.
