Akebono Tsugumi, a young girl who is a substitute parent for her younger siblings in a motherless and fatherless home, follows the path of ballet against all odds. The new ballet company she joins has two pairs of shoes: the angel white ones that bring her happiness and the devil red ones that make her the best dancer.
